On Skin and Metal, Gigabyte crafts a cold and futuristic landscape that showcases the synthesizer's ability to be a dynamic and expressive instrument capable of a dizzying array of timbres. Inspired by and paying tribute to the groundbreaking cyberpunk classic, System Shock 2, Gigabyte has perfectly captured the tone and atmosphere of its muse by utilizing amorphous bass lines, hyper-punchy drums, and a relentless energy that permeate its half hour duration.
