Signaling the start of a productive new year, Broken Alias returns with Commuter Focus! Featuring six brand new tracks of FM-heavy bitpop magic, Commuter Focus is the natural expansion of the groundwork laid out on its 2020 predecessor, FM in the B4.

Composed entirely on the mobile app Caustic 3 during the artists' travels, Commuter Focus' strength lies within its faux-nostalgia, painting thrilling scenes in a variety of imaginary landscapes. "Double Engine Hyperlane" feels like a high-speed chase down a dimly lit tunnel which eventually breaks into daylight. "Imbiber" brings to mind a puzzle-platformer with animal adventurers traversing unforeseen obstacles on the beach at sunset. "Frost Kill" is like a tense, final boss battle—the heart racing culmination of endless hours of work toward a singular goal.

With all its round & rubbery textures, upbeat rhythms, and dynamically shifting styles, it's hard not to think of Commuter Focus as an expertly crafted soundtrack for some tragically unreleased 16-bit game.

And while that game might never exist, the music does. So hit play, close your eyes, and be transported into Broken Alias' fanciful world!
